Summer is well and truly here and there’s no where better to be in summer than in Dorset. That’s why, in this blog post, we’re going to show you some of the amazing things on offer in and around Corfe and why a trip to Dorset Mud Trail doesn’t just stop there.

Dorset Mud Trail is an amazing place to visit for all the family. Free for spectators, just £5 for the under sixes, £7 for those aged 7-15 and only £8 for everyone over 16, Dorset Mud Trail is an affordable day out for all the family. With around 30 obstacles to clamber over and under Dorset Mud Trail is a fantastic fun day out for everyone. We’ve changing rooms, lockers and beach-style showers so that you can wash off all the mud after you’ve spent time on the trail. We do recommend that you bring a bag to put your muddy clothes in to afterwards and only wear old clothes.

Throw in some culture

After a brilliant time on the trail, there is still loads to do as a family. Why not throw in some culture with a trip to Corfe Castle.  This historic castle, now a National Trust property, was destroyed in the English Civil War - leaving behind the magnificent ruin that we see today. Relax in style

When it comes to summer activities in Dorset, Corfe is the place to be. After spending some time on Dorset Mud Trail, and then visiting Corfe Castle you can relax in style in some of the amazing pubs in and around Corfe itself! There’s the New Inn in Church Knowle, the beautiful, thatched, Halfway Inn and The Greyhound to name but a few.

Splash out at Dorset Waterpark

While you’re visiting Dorset Mud Trail why not throw in a trip to Dorset Waterpark as well! Dorset Waterpark is a huge woodland water park close to Corfe Castle.
